Give Yourself A Little Protection Without Erase Hard Drive Software

If you’re contemplating whether to buy erase hard drive software or just haven’t gotten around to it, then you should take the following action to give you some protection for the time being. This information is only for Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox users.

So, you’ve been checking out a few porn sites and now you’re worried that someone might find out. You want to erase hard drive porn quickly, but you don’t have any software installed. Here’s what you do;

For Internet Explorer users (versions 4-6), click on the “Tools” menu, then “Internet Options” or “Delete Browsing History”. For later versions, you need to hit “Delete Files” which will erase the cached images.

You will also need to navigate your way to the “Clear History” button. This will clear all website addresses that show up in the auto-fill address bar. To erase cookies, just click the “Delete Cookies” button and voila! By doing this before and after you go online will help secure your drive by removing a number of IDs and passwords (although it won’t erase hard drive porn fully).

For Firefox users, you simply have to navigate your way to the tools menu and click on “Clear Private Data. It’s not as thorough as erase hard drive software and it may be a bit of a bother to do it every time you log on and off, but it will give you a small piece of mind.
