Manually Deleting Sensitive Files VS Erase Hard Drive Software

If you think that you don’t need erase hard drive software, then you’re probably one of those computer savvy users who know every trick in the book to thwart identity thieves and hackers. Maybe you religiously delete history files and make it a habit to erase cookie data.

If you make it a habit to empty your Internet cache history then you’re probably only one in a hundred who actually bother. It’s a good start if you do, but unfortunately there are several more steps to remove every trace of sensitive data, which could potentially be got by hackers. These steps cannot be done manually. Why? because they’re marked as ‘System files’ on your hard drive.

There are files and folders that are deep in your hard drive. Even if you spent all day checking each file, you have the problem of deleting them. For one, the ‘index.dat’ file is not removable without software.

If you need to be completely sure that all your sensitive and personal data isn’t hacked by identity thieves and hackers, it’s necessary to get the right erase hard drive software.
